“Each time a person passes by you and you say ‘hello’, imagine that person turning into a candle. The more positivity, love and light you reflect, the more light is mirrored your way. Sharing beautiful hellos is the quickest way to earn spiritual brownie points. You should start seeing hellos as small declarations of faith. Every time you say hello to a stranger, your heart acknowledges over and over again that we are all family.”

Hello! It’s been a while. I have had one of the busiest years, but I am back just in time for the Most Wonderful Time of the Year – the Christmas season, and I could not be more excited.
As a part of my countdown to Christmas, I’ll be sharing various Christmas related posts with you. I hope that this can be a place where we can share Christmas ideas with one another. Ideas that will make our Christmases just that little bit more special. If you have any Christmas ideas, whether or not they are related to the post, feel free to leave them in the comment section below.
In this post, I am going to share with you my Christmas bucket list for 2017. I have selected the first 10 things on my list to share.
1. Host a Christmas movie night!
Looking forward to sharing some Christmas Movie Night ideas with you in an upcoming post 🙂 Stay tuned!
2. Host a Christmas game night!
So far I have 10 Christmas games on my Game’s Night list. Once again, stay tuned!
3. Put on your pyjamas, sit in your car, drive around the neighbourhood and spot as many Christmas lights as you can.
Challenge – Spot 10 houses that scream Christmas!
Looking forward to this! The area that I live in, has previously displayed the most breathtaking Christmas displays. Fingers crossed for this year too! 🙂
4. Host a Winter Wonderland themed dinner.
This year, I think I’ll invite the family over, and incorporate a Christmas Movie Night.
I have collected some magical items from K-Mart for this themed dinner. Can we all agree that K-Mart is the best? It has everything!!
5. Deck the halls with boughs of holly, Fa la la la la la la la la! …….. Go Christmas Caroling!!!!
I have already ordered our Christmas cloaks!!
6. Write a letter to Saint Nick.
Where is my paper? I have a long list! This is an activity I love to partake in with my nieces! If you’re not subtle whilst trying to discover what it is your family members want for Christmas, or if you are too embarrassed to ask for anything, then this is the perfect activity for you!
Also, I like to make wishes for people who are in need and sick. One of my top wishes is that everyone’s Christmas is truly “Merry and Bright!”
7. Build and decorate a gingerbread house.
This should be fun! Messy, but fun 🙂 Another fun activity that I like to partake in with my nieces. Sometimes we turn it into a competition! Game on ladies!!!
8. Bake and decorate Christmas cookies. Challenge: Pack and hand them out to your neighbours.
Definitely one of my favourite things to do during the Christmas season 🙂 Flavour ideas?
9. Donate toys to children in need.
If you have any ideas, as to how I can make this really special, please share them 🙂
10. Think of a creative way to display past Christmas photos around the house.
I have a few ideas. Yep, you guessed it, stay tuned! 🙂
Well, there you have it- the first 10 things I need to tick off my Christmas bucket list.
I will try my best to tick off all the tasks on my list!
Do you have a Christmas bucket list? If so, what is on your list? I would love for you to share some new ideas that I could add to my list.
