Each year I love looking through magazines, cook books, and online for magical Christmas recipes. Each time I come across a dish that makes my mouth water. This year I have decided to share some of my favourite Christmas recipes I have come across.
- Barbecued prawns with ginger and mango mayonnaise
Prawns are always a great starter !
2. Smoked salmon frittata and prosciutto-asparagus platter
I am not a fan of salmon, but I must admit this platter looks absolutely delicious!
3. Roasted pears with prosciutto
Did someone say prosciutto ? I adore prosciutto. If I had to have prosciutto for breakfast, lunch and dinner, I would be completely fine with that.
Jamie Oliver Recipes
- Christmas Day Gravy
When you read the words “gravy” and “not too tricky” in one sentence, then that gravy recipe is a must. Honestly, I have never had luck when it comes to making gravy, but I am excited to try Jamie Oliver’s Christmas Day recipe 🙂
2. Perfect Roast Potatoes
They sure do look perfect. I am really craving these right now !!! A must for Christmas.
3. Crackled roast pork with prosciutto and herb stuffing
I need to try this !!!! It looks delicious.
4. Honey mustard pork roast with apples and pan gravy
I have always wanted to try a honey mustard pork roast, and I think I have finally found the perfect recipe 😀
- Roasted Vegetable Salad
Sweet, creamy, and absolutely delicious ! For those of you who prefer vegetable sides, this is one of the best!
2. Jewelled couscous salad
If you want to impress your guests, then the Jewelled couscous salad is the way to go ! Perfect for instagram too !
3. Cranberry stuffing balls
They look quite delicious, I think I might try making these this year.
4. Pumpkin Bread
Definitely something different.
- The Pavlova Wreath
I absolutely ADORE Pavlova, so I was extremely excited when I saw a Christmas recipe.
2. Strawberries ‘n cream trifle
My favourite flavour/smell is strawberries and cream (whether its a lolly, or body butter), and I love trifles. Combining the two would definitely create the perfect Christmas dessert for me (fingers crossed all goes well in the kitchen)
3. Rocky Road Pudding
Honestly I feel like this is every kids dream come true !
BBC Good Food
4. Boozy chocolate bombes
They had me at “coffee sponges”. They look absolutely delicious!
5. Bûche de Noël
I am always up for trying foreign desserts , especially when they look this good!
6. Millionaire’s ice cream bombe
MALTESERS !!!!!! The ONLY time I would not eat this, is if it actually was a million dollars, but then again you never know. Desserts make people do crazy things.
And there you have it. Some of the Christmas recipes I came across, which I love, and which I am hoping to try. Have you come across any amazing recipes ? Share your thoughts below, and vote for your favourite course 🙂
